General Description: The Executive Director, Global Tax Reporting and Compliance is a senior leadership role within the Global Tax organization responsible for overseeing worldwide tax reporting, tax accounting, compliance governance, tax technology modernization, and tax operating model transformation. Reporting to the head of Global Tax, this role serves as a strategic advisor to Finance and Tax leadership, ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting, effective compliance oversight, strong internal controls, and scalable processes supporting the company's global growth objectives. The Executive Director partners closely with Treasury, Legal, Controllers, business units, external auditors, and advisors to manage complex tax accounting matters, tax disclosures, regulatory developments, and global transformation initiatives. The role is also responsible for driving continuous improvement, automation, AI adoption, and operating model optimization across the global tax function. Essential Functions of the Job: Global Tax Reporting & Tax Accounting Lead the worldwide tax reporting process, including quarterly and annual income tax provision reporting under U.S. GAAP and local statutory financial reporting requirements. Oversee ASC 740 tax accounting, including effective tax rate forecasting, rate reconciliations, uncertain tax positions, valuation allowances, deferred tax accounting, purchase accounting impacts, and tax law changes.
