The group's main business is the implementation of mission-critical digital mobile communication systems for Government & Public Safety Communications customers. Job Description Note: This is a remote position with travel (50-75%+) to support projects within the territory (OH, WI, MI, MN, SD, ND). The candidates must reside in or be open to relocation to OH. Overview: The Field Engineer is responsible for the Implementation of complex communication system infrastructure and technical support of specialized sub-systems and product applications, This includes troubleshooting software-driven electronics, IP networks, server and network hardware, and performance verification and optimization of RF and broadband architecture including, legacy analog, advanced digital P25, and data infrastructure devices and systems. Responsibilities include: Team with Systems Engineering, Project Management, and Sales personnel to effectively design, implement, optimize, test, cutover, and document advanced communication systems that meet or exceed customer expectations Provide weekly reports of activities and accomplishments.
