Field Process Engineer (Phoenix, AZ) The Field Process Engineer works closely with customers and equipment to resolve process and tool performance challenges. This role requires strong technical judgment, structured problem-solving, clear communication, and the ability to drive customer issues to resolution while distinguishing facts from hypotheses and minimizing operational risk. What you'll be working on Support ASM tools through installation, startup, qualification, warranty, high-volume manufacturing (HVM) ramp, and production phases. Monitor process performance, tool matching, stability, and open issues through structured data analysis and follow-up. Drive containment, recovery, and corrective actions when process or tool performance targets are not met. Design, execute, and analyze experiments to support qualification, troubleshooting, process optimization, tool matching, and customer-requested improvements. Collect and interpret process, metrology, equipment, and performance data to support fact-based decision making. Apply structured troubleshooting, DOE methodologies, statistical analysis, and measurement-system validation to identify and resolve issues.
