Field Sales Manager

Aspen Publishing is seeking one (1) Field Sales Manager to be a part of a growing Sales team. This position is 100% remote and must be located in the Mid-Atlantic (NY, NJ, DE, PA). You will partner with members of the Sales, Marketing, and Editorial teams while selling all products in the legal education portfolio, tracking business, adhering to metrics, and providing world class customer service. TITLE : Field Sales Manager (Mid-Atlantic: NY, NJ, DE, PA) REPORTS TO : Regional Sales Manager DEPARTMENT : SALES FLSA STATUS : EXEMPT LOCATION : REMOTE RANGE: $71.7 MIN/ $90.3 MID/ $112.4 MAX POSITION SUMMARY : Generate new sales and retain existing sales in assigned territory; Develop and qualify prospect lists from law school faculty, deans, administrators, and library personnel; Make in-person and online presentations to prospective clients to explain Company products and services and their alignment with the client’s needs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieve annual territory sales goals Generate leads and close sales for adoptable electronic and print publications with law school faculty Work with Institutional Sales Manager to increase Institutional Sales and drive adoption of Aspen’s institutional products such as Aspen Learning Library, PracticePerfect, Digital Bookshelf, and Inclusive Access Maintain Aspen Publishing ’s strong position in the law school market by ensuring continuity of business Master print and electronic product content for Aspen Publishing and competitor titles, and share market intelligence and sales techniques with colleagues Explain concepts clearly and adapt presentations to meet audience needs Respond to customer requests quickly and professionally.
