Schedule: Full-Time | US Business Hours Start Date: Immediate About the Role We're looking for an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of the company's accounting operations and financial reporting while leading the transition from an outsourced accounting model to a fully in-house finance function. Reporting directly to the CFO, you'll oversee the General Ledger, supervise bookkeeping operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and help establish scalable accounting processes. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys building structure, improving financial operations, and delivering accurate, timely financial information. This position begins with a three-month contractor trial period , with the opportunity to transition into a long-term engagement based on performance and business needs. What You'll Do Accounting Operations Take full ownership of the General Ledger (GL), ensuring its accuracy, integrity, and compliance. Maintain and manage the Chart of Accounts. Lead the transition from outsourced accounting to an internal accounting function. Manage monthly close activities, reconciliations, and financial accuracy. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports. Review Profit & Loss statements and financial performance across business units.
