About the role As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE), you sit at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer outcomes. You will work directly with our largest and most strategic customers, deeply understanding their business problems, designing solutions, and deploying production-grade software that drives real-world impact. As an FDE, you are embedded with users, uncovering pain points firsthand, rapidly prototyping ideas, building scalable solutions, and guiding the customer through adoption and change management. You are measured not only by code quality, but by customer success and measurable business results. What you'll do As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you work at the intersection of engineering, delivery, and customer operations. You will embed alongside our customers and partners to understand their workflows, identify integration opportunities, and deploy scalable, reliable software solutions that connect GenLogs to the platforms they depend on daily. You will: Lead the technical implementation of integrations between GenLogs and external systems (TMS, CRM, ERPs, data providers, compliance systems). Conduct customer discovery sessions to map processes, data flows, and operational constraints. Translate customer needs into technical requirements, API specs, and data model designs.
