FPSO Marine System Engineer

Missions / Service dimensions The service holder will oversee all design, engineering and construction activities performed by FPSO Contractor and its vendors related to the hull systems The service holder will be responsible for Interface with Classification Society on all engineering matters related to hull systems Activities The FPSO Marine System Engineer is expected to perform the following activities: Ensure that documents issued comply with project specifications, Class rules, international standards and regulations Verify that documents align with the overall operating philosophy and functional requirements in relation with field operations representatives. Contribute to the technical evaluation of hull systems engineering, procurement, construction, installation and review/approval of deliverables from the FPSO Contractor and its Vendors Participate in project meetings and reviews (i.e. design reviews, Interface meetings, HAZIDs / HAZOPs / technical reviews, constructability reviews, workshops) during the engineering, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases Interact and coordinate with other disciplines such as Process, Piping, Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Instrumentation, ICSS, Structure, Corrosion to ensure robust and optimized design of the hull systems in compliance with the project specifications Liaise with Topsides discipline engineers and Safety lead engineers to ensure inter-disciplines checks Follow up on interfaces issues pertaining to hull s
