OVERALL FUNCTION The Fundraising Ads Account Strategist is a freelance, production-focused role responsible for building and trafficking Meta advertising for a portfolio of Democratic PACs, organizations, elected officials, and candidates. The majority of this role's time will be spent on hands-on ad production, trafficking and reporting within Facebook Ads Manager. Broader strategic responsibilities - including spend recommendations, performance optimization, and new client launches - will be introduced through training. Reports to: Digital Director Term: Freelance, ASAP through 12/1/2026 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ad Production (primary focus) Build and traffic Meta ads across client portfolio Set up and manage audiences and targeting per campaign specifications Maintain strong attention to detail across the full ad setup and click-to-donate conversion funnel, including UI/UX Monitor day-to-day ad delivery and performance Make recommendations on spend and performance goals within Facebook Ads Manager Growth Areas Assist in tracking client spend and compiling results reporting Support new client launches, including creating Facebook pages, importing data, building initial audiences, and setting up pixel tracking Explore additional platforms, including Google / SEO ads Drafting ad copy and creative concepts QUALIFICATIONS
