Global KOL Management Manager, Global Medical Affairs

Position Summary The Global KOL Management Manager leads the governance, and execution of global Key Opinion Leader (KOL) and external expert engagement across multiple therapeutic areas and/or species. This role builds and operationalizes a high-impact, compliant KOL ecosystem—driving scientific exchange, evidence generation, advisory insights, and coordinated engagement plans across regions. The role partners closely across Global Medical Affairs, Global Portfolio Marketing, Commercial Colleagues, Research and Development, Diagnostics, and Regional/Local teams to ensure KOL activities are insight-driven, measurable, and aligned to the product lifecycle and corporate objectives. Position Responsibilities KOL Tools, Systems, and Process Excellence Support build, co-own and continuously refine a global KOL data repository in Salesforce, including workflows for profiling, engagements, and insights. Drive process improvements for faster planning cycles, better insight capture, and improved stakeholder satisfaction by establishing structured alignments and enterprise ways of working Develop KOL AI profiling capabilities within Salesforce incorporating data on scientific influence, clinical leadership, network centrality, publication/presentation impact, guideline participation, and unmet-need alignment Implement and enforce KOL engagement governance (SOP adherence, transparency reporting readiness, contracting, documentation, and audit trails). Create KOL profiles and engagement pathways, incorporating preferences, conflict-of-interest considerations, and engagement history. Partner with regions to validate KOL prioritization and local relevance; ensure a consistent global taxonomy and data standards. Global KOL Strategy & Planning Maintain a global KOL strategy aligned to therapeutic-area priorities, product lifecycle needs, and scientific communication plans.
