WHY WE EXIST Grocery retail is one of the industries best positioned to benefit from AI. Retailers generate enormous volumes of data across every part of their business, from customers and suppliers to stores, staff, energy, transport, and the supply chain. Yet, most grocers come nowhere close to using this data to its full potential. Retailers are united in their belief that AI will define the next era of competitiveness, yet most have only scratched the surface. algo1 was born to correct this. Mission matters to us. There are plenty of great startups that offer autonomy, a fast pace, and the feeling of building something together. What makes us different is our obsession with grocery and the shopper. If you're excited by the idea of changing an experience that touches almost everyone, this is the right place. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a graduate role reporting to our Head of B2C Product, working closely with our engineering team. This role blends curiosity with execution. You'll imagine how the in-store grocery experience could be made better, use AI to prototype those ideas, and get them in front of shoppers quickly. You'll iterate rapidly, watching how shoppers respond with features you prototype and deciding which ideas are worth pursuing. Features that prove themselves are handed over to engineering to review, refine, and commit to the live product, all at pace. How you build matters as much as what you build. We're agentic-first, we've built our own coding harness, and everyone works on max plans, so you'll never be rate-limited. The only limit will be your ability to imagine what shoppers truly value. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own an idea end to end, from initial concept to a proven feature. - Research market trends, shopper behaviour, and competitor products to inform new concepts. - Build features using AI and iterate rapidly, testing prototypes with real shoppers. ABOUT YOU You have been building things for as long as you can remember, and most of them nobody asked y
