About algo1 Grocery retail is one of the industries best positioned to benefit from AI. Retailers generate enormous volumes of data across every part of their business, from customers and suppliers to stores, staff, energy, transport, and the supply chain. Yet, most grocers come nowhere close to using this data to its full potential. Retailers are united in their belief that AI will define the next era of competitiveness, yet most have only scratched the surface. algo1 was born to correct this. Mission matters to us. There are plenty of great startups that offer autonomy, a fast pace, and the feeling of building something together. What makes us different is our obsession with grocery and the shopper. If you're excited by the idea of changing an experience that touches almost everyone, this is the right place. The Role This graduate role reports to our Head of B2C Product and works closely with our engineering team. The role blends curiosity with execution. You'll imagine better in-store shopping experiences, use AI to rapidly prototype new ideas, and put them in front of real shoppers. You'll iterate quickly based on feedback, identify what delivers genuine value, and work with engineering to refine successful concepts into production-ready features. How you build matters as much as what you build. We're agentic-first, have built our own coding harness, and everyone has access to max-tier AI tools, so you'll never be rate-limited. The only limit is your ability to imagine what shoppers truly value. What You'll Own - Own an idea end to end, from initial concept to a proven feature. - Research market trends, shopper behaviour, and competitor products to inform new concepts. - Build and iterate on AI-powered prototypes, testing them with real shoppers to validate ideas quickly. - Work closely with engineering to turn successful prototypes into production-ready features. About You Whether it's side projects, apps, websites, or code you’ve written to solve your own prob
