WHO WILL LOVE THIS JOB - A systems thinker – you enjoy shaping technical direction and making thoughtful architecture decisions for complex, emerging AI and automation systems - A high-impact problem-solver – you like identifying the most valuable opportunities to automate, then partnering across teams to take solutions from idea to production - A full-stack builder – you’re energized by working across backend services, internal tools, data models, and SaaS integrations to create practical, durable solutions - A quality champion – you care deeply about strong engineering standards, from testing and documentation to observability, incident response, and operational excellence WHAT YOU’LL DO - Anchor architecture decisions for EA's AI/agentic stack: patterns for skills, tools, agent loops, evals, memory, and observability. - Pick the highest-leverage problems to automate and run them end-to-end with department partners and EA peers. - Ship production-grade Python and TypeScript services, internal UIs, and integrations across our SaaS estate (Okta, Slack, Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, Zendesk, Jira, and others). - Design data models in PostgreSQL that make automation, observability, and AI experimentation safe. - Contribute to code reviews and propose improvements to testing, documentation and runbook practices. - At Greenhouse's request, provide availability during agreed windows for production support activities.
