Job Summary This Hardware Engineer role coordinates the end-to-end design, RFQ, and production release process for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) hardware like Change-kits, sockets, load boards and probe cards. The position serves as a vendor point of contact to manage technical follow-ups, inventory tools, budgets, and cross-functional forecasts for timely production availability. Additionally, the engineer performs basic technical evaluations, debugging, and data collection to drive hardware optimization and cost improvement initiatives Key Responsibilities: Main contact with ATE hardware vendors for technical, commercial and operational aspects. Manage and monitor spending budget for ATE hardware, Manage and maintain the tool/system for ATE hardware request and tracking hardware inventory. Identify and execute areas for Gross Margin Improvement Initiatives in areas related to load boards, probe cards, test sockets, change kits. Interface with cross-functional (Product Group’s engineering, operation etc.) teams for forecast on ATE hardware and execute to support NPI timeline, revenue and capacity Assist in basic technical evaluation and validation of ATE hardware (e.g., sockets, boards, and change kits) and support debug, checkout, and documentation. Experience in semiconductor ATE hardware (sockets/boards/change kit/probe cards) management Minimum 3 years of relevant experience Experience in Hardware buy-off, and release to production Technical Planning: Turning technical needs into business plans. Advanced Analytics: forecasting, and data analysis. Executive Communication : Presenting complex data clearly to top leaders. Global Collaboration: Working smoothly across international, multi-department teams Schematic Reading: Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams. PCB Layout Interpretation : Ability to navigate and review printed circuit board layouts Good to have Hardware Design Experience (Sockets/Kits/Boards) Knowledge in design SW like CAD Re
