This role sits on our finance team and offers the opportunity to shape the foundation of a rapidly growing company with a transformative vision. This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. The standard in-office days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays. Working from home on Fridays depends on the type of work you do and the teams with which you partner. What You’ll Achieve Lead Strategy & Governance: Lead technical revenue accounting strategy and governance while overseeing the technical alignment of end-to-end quote-to-cash and revenue processes. Strategic Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner strategically across executive leadership and cross-functional teams (Sales, RevOps, Legal, Product, IT) to evaluate technical accounting implications for complex Enterprise deals and strategic business initiatives. Deep Product Alignment: Integrate yourself across Product, Sales, and Marketing to build deep knowledge of our products. Technical Authority: Serve as the primary technical revenue accounting authority, establishing frameworks and guidance for emerging SaaS, consumption, and partner business models. Scale & Compliance: Ensure quote-to-cash processes are scalable and revenue recognition aligns with US GAAP, ASC 606, and company
