The Consultant helps State Medicaid agencies strengthen their Medicaid Program Integrity efforts by contributing to project management and business development activities for current and future engagements. This role leads project workstreams, partners with state agencies to identify and implement innovative solutions to improve fraud, waste, abuse, compliance, and operational performance, and supports and leads major business development activities. Successful candidates combine strong operational consulting skills with an interest in Medicaid policy, operations, data analytics, and client relationship management. Duties and Responsibilities Provides implementation and project management support across multiple client engagements. Manages small projects, staff and tasks with limited supervision while meeting and exceeding performance expectations. Reviews and be the expert in the business operations for service and efficiency improvements Analyzes and interprets federal and state law and regulation. Assesses best practices and provide technical assistance to clients. Facilitates client discussions. Delegates tasks and responsibilities to team members. Supports business development activities, including researching industry trends, contributing to team discussions, and identifying new and emerging opportunities. Leads proposal
