Summary Gainwell Technologies is seeking a COB Support Assistant to support our Third-Party Recovery (TPR) operations. In this role, you will assist Medicaid providers and members by verifying health insurance coverage, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service. The position combines inbound call support and back-office processing activities to help ensure accurate coordination of benefits information while supporting cost containment and regulatory compliance initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Your role in our mission Respond to inbound calls from Medicaid providers and members regarding insurance verification and coordination of benefits inquiries. Verify, update, and document health insurance information using Medicaid and internal systems. Process emails, faxes, SharePoint requests, and other correspondence related to TPR operations. Perform data entry and administrative support activities while meeting productivity and quality standards. Navigate multiple databases, carrier systems, and software platforms to research and validate information. Provide professional, accurate, and timely customer service while handling sensitive healthcare information. Adhere to HIPAA requirements, company policies, and security guidelines. Identify opportunities to improve processes and support operational efficiency initiatives. Support Florida TPR operations and perform additional duties as assigned.
