Healthcare Supply Chain Specialist (IT/Clinical Info Specialist)

About the Role The Principal Healthcare Supply Chain Specialist (Information Technology/Clinical Information Systems) oversees work on multi-layered projects related to healthcare information technology systems and software such as pharmacy automation solutions, clinical decision support systems, laboratory information systems, perioperative environments, enterprise imaging software solutions, artificial intelligence technologies, and other software and systems used within hospital environments. The role works closely with hospital clients, clinicians, clinical engineers, IT teams, manufacturers, and Starita’s analysts to evaluate and compare healthcare technology vendors and solutions. The role leads hospital equipment and IT sourcing projects, including coordinating calls with Staritas ' analysts, clinical engineers, and clients; developing RFP questionnaires; reviewing vendor RFP responses; and making purchase decision recommendations based on technical specifications, quoted pricing, and proposed service and support options. The Specialist will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving reports to ensure technical accuracy and proper clinical focus before they are sent to clients. In addition, the Specialist will work with Team Managers to develop new reports and service offerings, will support the Sales team by performing demos, providing sales pitch, and selling strategies, and may represent the company by attending and presenting at trade shows and conferences.
