IOTA Group is looking for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join its teams within a leading global energy company , supporting a major international LNG development. The position will initially be based in Milan, Italy , during the Engineering phase of the project, within a large-scale LNG facility comprising more than 80 buildings. As an HVAC Engineer , you will be responsible for overseeing HVAC engineering activities across the project. Your main responsibilities will include: Manage the issuance, review and approval of HVAC engineering technical documentation. Ensure that all Project HSE requirements are integrated and consistently applied throughout HVAC design activities. Monitor the engineering development and progress of HVAC systems delivered by contractors and package vendors. Review engineering and vendor documentation to ensure compliance with project specifications, Statement of Requirements (SOR), HSE requirements and applicable international standards. Supervise engineering contractors performing detailed HVAC design, ensuring compliance with cost, schedule, quality and safety requirements . Develop and review HVAC engineering deliverables and ensure consistency across technical documentation. Identify opportunities for design optimisation, standardisation and cost savings . Coordinate with other engineering disciplines on constructability and operational interfaces, including 3D model reviews . Participate in HAZOP studies, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and vendor inspections when required. Ensure the quality and completeness of final HVAC documentation before handover to Operations. Master's degree / Bac+5 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering or a related discipline . Minimum 10 years of relevant HVAC engineering experience within Oil & Gas, LNG or large-scale EPC/industrial projects. Strong experience with HVAC systems operating in classified and hazardous areas , including Zone Classification, ATEX or equivalent requirements. G
