GENERAL FUNCTION: As a member of the Information Lifecycle Governance (ILG) team within the Information Protection division of Information Security, this role plays a critical part in advancing the Bank’s enterprise-wide records management strategy. The successful candidate will contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of policies and processes that govern the classification, retention, and disposition of information assets. This position requires a strong understanding of records management principles, including the Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles, and the ability to apply them in a complex, regulated environment. The role demands strategic thinking, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the Bank’s information governance practices align with legal, regulatory, and business requirements. The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to business units, promoting compliance, and driving adoption of modern records management technologies and methodologies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead execution of periodic updates to the Bank’s Corporate Records Retention Schedule. Assist with development of program related processes and procedures required to ensure enterprise-wide classification, retention and defensible disposition of Bank records and information, aligned with industry best practices. Contribute to training and education initiatives related to records management. Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, Legal, Risk, Compliance, Sourcing, and Audit to implement governance practices.
