The Instrumentation Technician is responsible for helping us install and maintain supplemental instrumentation on a variety of company assets . As a Instrumentation Technician on the Instrumentation team at Beta Technologies, you will use your hands-on technical aptitude to plan , execute, clean up, and document a variety of instrumentation on anything from discrete structural elements to flight test aircraft . Instrumentation hardware span s a variety of areas, such as structural validation strain gages , vibration fatigue strain gages, and thermal monitoring of High Voltage components . Instrumentation Technician duties include not just the setup and testing of aircraft assemblies or components, but also the routine maintenance and troubleshooting of test equipment and sensors . An ideal candidate has great attention to detail when following a defined work plan, but also a good dose of creativity when working with the team on how to execute new and interesting instrumentation packages a nd the drive and motivation to see things through to completion no matter the challenge.
