About the team: The Distributed Data Storage and Management Lab leads research in distributed data systems, aiming to develop next-generation cloud serverless products that encompass core infrastructure and databases. This lab addresses various data challenges, including cloud-native disaggregated databases, pay-by-query user models, and optimizing low-level data transfers via RDMA. Teams within this lab create advanced cloud serverless data infrastructure and implement cutting-edge networking technologies for Huawei's global AI infrastructure. About the job: Build enterprise data foundations using knowledge graphs, metadata systems, vector databases, and enterprise data sources. Design and develop core capabilities of the openJiuwen AI Agent Platform, including Agent Frameworks, Workflows, Tool Calling, MCP, and Multi-Agent collaboration. Build real-world AI Agents such as Coding Agents, Research Agents, Data Agents, and Software Engineering Agents. Contribute to JiuwenSwarm and other flagship open source projects through feature development, issue fixing, documentation, examples, and community collaboration. Explore cutting-edge technologies including LLMs, Agentic Workflows, Memory, Planning, Evaluation, and Multi-Agent systems. The total target annual compensation (based on 2,080 hours per year) ranges from $58,000 to $104,000 depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.
