In this role, you will contribute to the development of simple 2D game features that help train next-generation AI systems. This is a fully remote, contract-based opportunity with flexible working hours. Job Details Job Type: Contract (3–6 Months) Location: Remote Work Schedule: Flexible (20 or 40 hours per week) Industry: AI / Game Development Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize 2D game features using Java and libGDX. Implement core game mechanics such as player movement, sprites, game loops, and input handling. Debug, optimize, and improve game performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions. Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, well-documented code. Document development processes and communicate progress effectively. Required Skills Strong knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Hands-on experience with libGDX through professional, academic, or personal projects. Understanding of: Game loops Sprites Input handling Basic game mechanics Good problem-solving and debugging skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
