Listed as a remote role based in Brno, South Moravia, Czechia. Mosaic Conseil is currently supporting a major European logistics partner on a series of critical infrastructure assessments. This engagement involves auditing complex logistical data and rebuilding business models to ensure they reflect the actual evidence found in their operational ledgers. To assist in this effort, we are looking for a Junior Automation Specialist to join our small, fully remote team. This is a permanent, full-time position focused on the technical backbone of our analytical work. About Mosaic Conseil Mosaic Conseil is a boutique remote workshop dedicated to the precise restoration and reconstruction of business artifacts. We do not produce slide decks or manage standing retainers. Instead, we take existing business documents: pricing grids, three-year plans, or diligence files: and rebuild them from the ground up on the bench. Our process is personal and deep. We work in the rooms of financial services, industrial networks, growing software companies, and healthcare systems. By remaining small and remote, we maintain an independent perspective that is grounded in the hard evidence of the floor. Every piece of work we produce is handled on paper and backed by a telephone number that we answer ourselves for ninety days after a file closes. We prioritize written arguments and technical logic over corporate theater. What you would do In this role, you will be responsible for the technical processes that allow us to take apart and reassemble complex data sets for our logistics partner. Your work ensures that the information flowing through our models is accurate and structurally sound. You will spend your time: Developing and maintaining scripts that extract and clean raw data from logistics ledgers and financial reports. Building automated workflows to move data between diverse systems without compromising integrity. Creating technical audits for automated spreadsheets to identify logic errors or broken references. Assisting in the construction of financial models by ensuring the underlying data pipelines are consistent and repeatable. Documenting the logic behind every automated step so that it can be reviewed by a challenger. Translating manual data entry tasks into reliable, scripted processes to increase the speed of our rebuilding efforts. Reviewing the automated work of others to find edge cases or data outliers that could skew our final arguments. Helpful background We are looking for a thinker who is comfortable with technical tools and prefers the clarity of code and logic to the ambiguity of buzzwords. This is an entry level role, so we value curiosity and a methodical approach over years of professional history. You might be a good fit if you have: Basic proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages for data manipulation. Strong familiarity with advanced spreadsheet functions and the logic of relational databases. A background in computer science, mathematics, finance, or a related field where rigorous analysis is required. The ability to write clear, structured explanations of how your scripts work. A preference for working independently in a remote setting. An interest in how business systems and logistics networks operate at a granular level. A habit of double-checking your own work for errors before presenting it to others. How we work Our workshop operates on a one builder, one challenger model. For every file we open, one person is responsible for building the artifact while another person is tasked with arguing against its assumptions and logic. This ensures that every file we close has been tested against skepticism. We do not have meetings unless they are scheduled and necessary. We communicate primarily through written arguments and long-form notes. This environment requires a high degree of self-sufficiency. Being fully remote allows our team to focus on the work itself rather than the distractions of an office. When one of our artifacts is delivered, it carries the names of both the builder and the challenger, signifying a shared commitment to the evidence we have uncovered. What the role offers This is a paid position offering a competitive salary for the current market and the specific responsibilities of the role. You will have the opportunity to work in a highly focused environment where the quality of your craft is the only thing that matters. We provide a workspace free from standing meetings and corporate jargon, allowing you to dedicate your time to solving technical problems and building better models. Because we are a small firm, you will see the immediate utility of your work as it moves from your scripts into the final artifacts sent to the logistics partner. You will also develop a disciplined approach to data and business logic that is rare in larger, more traditional consulting firms. Our work is essentially an exercise in intellectual honesty. We are not here to tell a client what they want to hear, but to show them what the evidence of their own records actually says. If you value the process of taking things apart to see how they work and putting them back together more effectively, you will find our workshop a meaningful place to contribute.
