Listed as a remote role based in Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain. Tech Pipeline is currently assisting a major Spanish telecommunications firm in resolving friction within their internal operational systems. We are focused on making sure their data flows correctly and that their teams can use their software without unnecessary obstacles. This involves diving into the actual systems where the work happens to fix the bottlenecks that slow down day to day business. About the role In this position, you will be part of a team dedicated to improving the look and feel of the internal dashboards and portals that the telecommunications staff use. Many of these tools are functionally sound but can be difficult to navigate due to inconsistent styling or outdated layouts. Your job is to trace styling issues in the system, clean up technical debt in the stylesheets, and ensure a smooth experience for the people managing the network. This role is fully remote, allowing you to focus on your code while staying connected to our broader technical mission and the reality of how these tools are used in the field. It is about making the interface match the actual logic of the work being done. What you will be doing Writing and maintaining clean, modular CSS for internal web applications and dashboards. Fixing layout bugs such as misaligned tables or broken navigation menus in internal portals. Ensuring that internal tools are responsive and functional across the different screen sizes used by operators. Working closely with our technical team to identify where CSS is causing friction for the end users. Reading through existing stylesheets to identify and remove unused or redundant code. Standardizing components like buttons, alerts, and forms to ensure consistency across separate modules. Testing new interface updates across different browsers to make sure everything loads and displays correctly. Documenting style changes and creating simple guides for future UI updates. What we need from you A solid grasp of HTML5 and CSS3 fundamentals. Familiarity with modern layout techniques like Flexbox and CSS Grid. The ability to write organized code that other developers can easily read and follow. A high level of attention to detail regarding spacing, alignment, and color consistency. Comfort using browser developer tools to inspect elements and debug styles in real time. Clear written communication skills for documentation and providing progress updates. A willingness to learn how our clients use their tools so you can build practical fixes. Basic understanding of how to use Git for version control. Helpful background Exposure to CSS preprocessors like Sass or Less in personal or academic projects. A basic understanding of Javascript and how it interacts with the DOM. Prior experience with web design principles or building responsive personal websites. Familiarity with utility first CSS frameworks. What the role offers A fully remote position where you can work from your own environment. Competitive pay that is attractive for the role and your current level of experience in the market. A practical work environment where your changes have an immediate effect on real business users. The opportunity to learn how large scale telecommunications operations function from the inside. Exposure to real world technical problems and the chance to fix them at the code level. A culture that values output and technical accuracy over long, frequent meetings. Working at Tech Pipeline We operate with a focus on deep work and clear, asynchronous communication. Since the team is fully remote, we rely heavily on writing things down instead of scheduling constant calls. Our goal is to leave every system better than we found it, which means we spend a lot of time looking at the actual logs and the source of truth for every process. We want to make sure the client team can handle the system once our engagement ends. You will be expected to document your changes clearly and contribute to a shared knowledge base that helps everyone work efficiently. We value grounded people who prefer fixing a specific problem to talking about broad theories.
