Junior JavaScript Developer

Listed as a remote role based in Paris, Île-de-France, France. We are looking for a Junior JavaScript Developer to support our technical workstreams as a leading French logistics group expands its operations. This role is focused on building and maintaining internal tools that help our partners organize data and manage complex counterparty research. As a permanent member of our team, you will work in a fully remote environment, collaborating with senior advisors who prioritize practical commercial judgment over theoretical models. You will help bridge the gap between complex investment data and the tools we use to advise clients on their most critical decisions. What you will do Build clean, functional interfaces for internal research repositories using JavaScript and modern libraries. Assist in developing data visualization components that reflect ground reality for new market entries and capital deployment. Maintain existing scripts and small-scale applications used for tracking joint venture data and partnership logic. Translate commercial requirements provided by partners into structured, technical functionality within our internal systems. Troubleshoot performance issues in existing web-based tools to ensure they remain stable during active client engagements. Collaborate with the wider advisory team to understand what specific information decision-makers need to see during negotiations. Write simple, documented code that follows the firm standards for clarity and long-term maintainability. Prepare short technical guides that explain how internal tools should be used by our advisory staff. What you bring A fundamental understanding of JavaScript, including basic knowledge of HTML and CSS. Familiarity with at least one modern framework, such as React or Node.js, through university projects or personal study. Strong logical reasoning and the ability to break down commercial problems into technical steps. High attention to detail, specifically regarding the accuracy of data output and the layout of user interfaces. Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical choices to colleagues who do not have a programming background. A commercial mindset and a willingness to learn how large-scale investments and state-backed capital impact technical requirements. Disciplined work habits and the ability to manage your own tasks effectively in a remote setting. Curiosity about the logistics and investment sectors and how counterparty behavior is tracked in the territory.
