The Laboratory Technician assists in daily laboratory functions such as but not limited to cleaning, preparation/extraction, and stocking laboratory supplies (as assigned) using standard techniques according to approved scientific methodology in compliance with Eurofins Environment Testing Quality Assurance programs and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This position can be physical job that may require standing for long periods, working with chemicals, laboratory glassware and specialized equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Follows SOPs, written, and verbal instructions Performs routine laboratory cleaning Performs disposal of chemical waste using approved methods Keeps work area clean and organized Accurately enters data into LIMS Washes and inventories, glassware and specialized equipment, may be asked to prepare equipment for shipping Responsible for keeping personal training documentation (training records, IDOC/DOC) current and accurate Responsible for timely completion of assigned/scheduled QC samples (MDL, LOD/LOQ, PT) Regular attendance and punctuality Responsible for general housekeeping in work area Responsible for performing job functions in compliance with Eurofins Environment health and safety
