As Lead Engineer for Wiring Harnesses, you will own the design, development, and certification of all wiring harnesses for BETA's electric aircraft. You'll lead a team of engineers, establish design standards that meet rigorous aviation certification requirements, and work cross-functionally to bring electric aircraft from concept to production. How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation: Lead the development and certification of all wiring harnesses for BETA's electric aircraft, ensuring designs meet FAA certification requirements Establish and maintain design standards and test processes for harnesses and power distribution systems Build, mentor, and manage a team of harness engineers Partner with Systems Engineering to deliver certification artifacts including requirements verification/validation, qualification testing, and system-level certification plans Collaborate with Manufacturing to integrate harness designs into new and existing aircraft builds Drive continuous improvement in harness design for weight, manufacturability, and reliability Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years of experience designing wiring harnesses for aircraft systems Working knowledge of AS50881, AC43-13.1B, or equivalent aircraft harnessing standards P
