Lead Piping Engineer

Our client is a global multi-energy company operating large-scale refining and petrochemical facilities. Dimensions: The Absheron field is located offshore in Azerbaijan Republic in the Caspian Sea in 500 meters depth, at about 140km southeast of Baku, 25km north-east of Shah Deniz field and 34km south of Oil Rocks production and processing facilities. The project aims at supplying natural gas for both domestic market via Sangachal main facilities (condensate) and for international export market via the South Caucasus Pipeline (SCP). Project is in Azerbaijan on Caspian Sea placing the logistic and the engineering/modularization strategy as a key challenge. Project combines a challenging planning and a lean organization. It will select for its execution an Asian EPC contractor among four competitors and using its Chinese supply chain. Project technical definition has been optimized and challenged during CFT by each Bidder with derogations and agreed way forwards that are to be consolidated at start of execution. Onshore package comprises: An onshore multi phasic production pipeline Two onshore gas export pipelines One onshore condensate export pipeline One CPF with slug catcher, gas and condensate separation, dew point unit, and gas compression unit New switch yard for electrical import from Azeri electrical network Three tie ins: SCP international gas pipeline, DGN domestic gas pipeline, Sangachal oil treatment Brownfield modification on existing EPF platform + CCR in oil Rocks Production Data: 450 MMSCFD of exported gas + 38 000 BPD of condensates Project onshore Budget (CAPEX): >
