About the opportunity Customer Due Diligence is how N26 keeps millions of accounts safe and compliant without slowing down our customers' everyday banking. Our ambition is trust at scale: seamless compliance that operates continuously in the background, protecting the bank while keeping user friction to an absolute minimum. We build our core compliance infrastructure in-house, owning our orchestration, verification workflows, and AI automation rather than relying on off-the-shelf vendor limitations, and the group is now evolving from static onboarding checks to an intelligent, real-time lifecycle system. As Product Lead for Customer Due Diligence, you will own the end to end product vision and strategy across four critical domain streams: automated data collection (tax, address, AML questionnaire), AI-powered KYC operations, risk-based Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and the ongoing Customer Identity Lifecycle (re-verification and eligibility). Working at the intersection of applied AI, financial crime regulations, and core product UX, you will lead the teams’ shipping capabilities that keep N26 fully compliant across Europe, without customers ever feeling the complexity behind it. In this role, you will: Own a capability area: Take full product ownership of a defined slice of the programme, for example Customer Identity Lifecycle, including its roadmap, delivery and outcomes. Ground everything in evidence: Lead discovery on regulatory requirements and conversion rates; building problem statements from data, client voice and operational data rather than assumption. Understand the regulatory landscape: Especially with the new regulations coming up such as AMLA, understand what is needed, and build a roadmap to achieve what’s absolutely necessary to stay compliant. Own your numbers: Instrument your area with your key metrics and the counter-metrics that prove prioritisation decisions. You should be able to defend every figure you present. Work the interfaces: Collaborat
