Senior Machine Learning Engineer A leading global automotive manufacturer known for innovation in premium mobility is looking for an experienced technical professional to join the team. The successful candidate will focus on integrating advanced models into infotainment domains and prototyping generative intelligence experiences for a large global customer base. This role involves bridging the gap between model engineering and real-world product application to enhance intelligent in-car assistance systems. What you'll be doing • Integrating machine learning models to run efficiently on edge devices within the infotainment domain. • Prototyping and building new generative intelligence features for production-level customer launch. • Collaborating with engineering teams to manage latency, memory, and performance budgets for edge and cloud environments. • Developing evaluation tools to monitor real-world interaction quality, robustness, and failure modes. • Partnering with UX designers to refine system interactions, fallback flows, and safe error handling. What we're looking for • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • Minimum of five years of experience in application engineering with a history of delivering to large-scale user bases. • Professional proficiency in Python and Java or Kotlin for model integration and application development. • Proven expertise in debugging complex model failures and designing around the limitations of offline edge devices. • Strong collaborative skills for working within international cross-functional teams on complex technical problems.
