About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our Platform Foundations team — a small, high-leverage group responsible for defining the engineering standards and foundational components that the entire platform is built on. This role is primarily technical — you'll stay close to the code and architecture while providing the leadership and direction a senior team needs to do its best work. You'll work across backend services, DevOps practices, and event-driven infrastructure to establish patterns the rest of engineering depends on. You'll own the developer experience and component standards that every team builds on top of, and work closely with our Operations and SRE teams to align on reliability practices and observability standards. This role is fully remote for applicants based in Canada.
