Overview Overview: The Manager, Revenue Accounting will own the accounting for the revenue and billing functions within HealthEdge ’s Finance & Accounting team. About Centers of Excellence: Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provide expertise in a specific field. COEs will usually provide support through training, research, and skilled leaders. In the case of HealthEdge , our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal and Financial fields, all of which provide support to our Product divisions and allows the enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals. What you will do: Own the accounting and transaction recording for SaaS and on-prem software licenses under revenue recognition (ASC 606) including deferred revenue and contract assets Interpret new customer license agreements, SOWs and amendments to track and apply appropriate billing and revenue recognition schedules Reconcile commissions on new deals, and apply the proper accounting treatment Report monthly revenue results to FP&A team and assist with revenue forecasting Serve as contract for the Company's external auditors and consultants to ensure compliance with accounting standards and Company policies Work towards scaling, automation and continuous improvement of AR and revenue processes Will manage a team of 4 What you bring: 4-6 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA Deep working operational knowledge of ASC 606 for SaaS companies, and billing/collections experience Managerial experience preferred Experience with NetSuite/OpenAir preferred Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills and responsiveness Strong analytical and communication skills Geographic Responsibility: Remote US Type of Employment: Full-time, permanent FLSA Classification (USA Only): Exempt Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential fu
