Managing Security Consultant - Access Management (Remote in the U.S.)

Position Overview We are growing! GuidePoint Security is hiring a Managing Security Consultant – Access Management to join our delivery leadership team on a full-time basis. This is a fully remote role where we are looking for strong technical leadership experience across Ping Identity (PingFederate, PingOne, PingAccess) and Okta (Workforce Identity, Identity Engine), with a solid foundation in Access Management fundamentals including federation, SSO, MFA, and API security. The Managing Security Consultant is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of Access Management engagements across GuidePoint’s client portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of technical oversight, people leadership, and client delivery — ensuring that projects are properly staffed, technically sound, and delivered on time and within scope. The Managing Consultant serves as the escalation point for delivery challenges, coordinates across multiple concurrent engagements, and ensures consistent quality and client satisfaction across the practice. While the primary focus of this role is delivery management and technical oversight, the Managing Security Consultant will maintain hands-on technical currency in Access Management technologies to provide credible guidance, perform escalation support, and contribute to complex architecture decisions when needed.
