About the Role Matter Health is seeking an experienced, mission-driven Market Medical Director to provide physician leadership while delivering relationship-based primary care to older adults across an assigned market. This unique physician leadership role combines direct patient care, clinical oversight, population health, and provider mentorship. You'll partner closely with Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Patient Advocate/Liaisons, and Operations leaders to ensure patients receive exceptional, coordinated care where they live. Our physicians care for older adults living in affordable housing communities—many of whom face significant barriers to accessing healthcare. This role is ideal for a physician who enjoys leading teams, improving clinical outcomes, mentoring providers, and helping shape the future of community-based, value-driven healthcare.
