We take the time to learn about adopters and what they are looking for in a dog. We believe by taking our time to match the right dog to the right family, we can prevent many problems down the road. The Matchmaker is the primary contact between the potential adopter and Path of Hope Rescue . They guide the adopter through the process of adoption with empathy, care and professionalism. What Winning Looks Like Key Results Area #1 - Communication & Professionalism Ensures a smooth, professional and friendly experience for adopters Adheres to PHR Core Values Adheres to PHR adoption/matchmaking policies Best fit for dog Best fit for family Updates software platforms throughout process, keeping good notes Communicates with other PHR team members as needed Key Results Area #2 - Dog Roster Familiar with roster of available dogs and incoming dogs Stays up to date on foster reports/dog descriptions Key Results Area #3 - Applicant Process Reviews pre-screened applications assigned to them Sets up and conducts 'Matchmaking' phone interview Coordinates and oversees group text with foster and adopter Conducts long distance In Home Trials via video call Coordinates Puppy Delivery if option is chosen Finalizes Adoption with contract and donation Needed Skills Must like people! Our dogs have nowhere to go if people don't adopt them. You must have an equal love for people as for dogs.
