The Digital Sector is excited to announce our opening for a Material Project Manager on Military Services Solutions Materials team supporting the Naval Enterprise Networks Division. This person is the Global Supply Chain material purchases for One of Leidos ’s largest Navy programs within the Leidos Digital sector. This senior person is responsible for planning, organizing, securing and managing supply chain resources enabling cyber security, networks, field services for over 2,500 locations. Must have the ability to work with the company leaders in procuring material requirements and providing the necessary support of acquisition plans from start to finish. This individual will be interfacing with Contracting Officers, Suppliers, Logistics, Receiving, Materials Asset Management, and Strategic Sourcing to ensure program execution milestones are met. Must be a communicator that can influence project and team leaders regarding solution design, process improvement and compliant procurement actions. Primary Responsibilities Works with Program Management team to ensure a streamlined procurement process of materials against Customer requirements. Candidate must have the ability to work with leaders in generating material requirements and providing the necessary support of acquisition plans from start to finish. Maintains reports and monitor material movement throughout manufacturing and inventory sequences. Coordinates forecasts, workload, expediting, and acquisition priority with commodity/category team leadership. Ensures Leidos ’ Global Supply Chain policy and procedures are met throughout the materials management and sourcing process that will be to the greatest benefit of the company. Ensures Small Business Goals are reported accurately. Manages blanket purchase agreements to achieve maximum savings and cost avoidance.
