Accenture Federal Services is seeking Mechanical Design Engineers for an up-conversion team on a modernization program for a major aerospace & defense manufacturer. The role performs the core mechanical conversion work: turning legacy 2D drawings and 3D solid models into fully annotated, model-authoritative definitions that can be built directly from the model, then releasing them into the client's PLM system. The work : Build model-based definitions in Creo that carry the manufacturing intent in the model itself: geometry plus semantic PMI such as dimensions, GD&T, hole callouts, section views, and datums, aligned to ASME Y14.5 and Y14.41. Add the required notes and markings, for example data-rights, distribution, and export statements, and populate model parameters such as mass and material properties and revision data. Run automated model checks, for example Creo ModelCHECK , resolve the errors, and confirm annotations are tied to geometry so downstream systems can consume them rather than treating them as graphical-only notes. Create the model-based BOM for each assembly, covering both the manufactured and as-installed states, and reconcile it with the PLM EBOM. Produce neutral derivativ
