Ready to be a change agent? As a Mechanical Engineer at Fiberon, you will drive continuous improvement efforts in the production of our industry-leading composite decking. Joining our dynamic Meridian Maintenance Team, you will focus on Safety Engineering, Continuous Improvement, Cost Reduction, Material Utilization, R&D Collaboration, and Capital Projects. In this role, you will balance optimizing legacy equipment with deploying cutting-edge technologies. We solve complex problems through root cause analysis, FMEA, and RCM. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Process Optimization: Optimize current production processes and identify emerging technologies for future implementation. Mechanical Design: Develop mechanical designs and define precise project requirements using 2D and solid modeling CAD tools. Equipment Management: Evaluate, test, and modify equipment to maximize safety, reliability, and operational efficiency. Pr
