Mechanical Engineer

A leading engineering contractor require a proven mechanical engineer to join their site based team delivering mechanical projects. The Role Review and comment on construction P&ID’s, piping isometrics and GA’s. Understanding of industry standards and client specifications to ensure compliance. Review 3-D models of process plant/storage tanks for clash detection and constructability Assess and determine offsite fabrication strategy and sequence, in conjunction with fabrication team. Generate installation ITP & QA documentation in conjunction with QA manager. Oversee site installation, hydrotesting and commissioning in conjunction with construction manager. Generate system handover sequence, ITR’s and handover documentation in conjunction with commissioning team and QA manager. Familiar with data management systems such as Aconex Compliance with contractual obligations during design and construction Monitoring and control of budgets as required by the project manager Coordination of civil/mechanical interfaces during process plant design & construction Skills & Experience Required Experience in Design, constructability and review Fabrication and installation, commissioning of process piping systems. Proven mechanical engineering background
