Listed on the London Stock Exchange, Smiths employs approximately 16,000 colleagues in over 50 countries. The Gas Seals Reliability Engineer will be reporting to the Gas Seals Reliability Manager. This role will support external customers on all technical aspects including design, manufacture, build and test. This will involve looking at fast turnaround projects with levels of complexity varying. You will support sales network and carry out technical assessments detailing recommendations to support business plans. Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to): Evaluating in house test failures and considering dry gas seal designs while looking for solutions. Performing and interpreting calculations, analysis, and computations for unknown factors involving well-understood mechanisms. Prepare and present technical presentations to internal & external customers. Preparing technical feedback for both internal & external customers. Supporting commercial teams in technical meetings with customers to help resolve issues and build relationships. Liaising and work
