Position: Mechanical Engineering Expert Type: Contract Compensation: $65–$90/hour Location: Remote Commitment: 10 hours/week Role Responsibilities Review and evaluate written content and AI-generated responses in mechanical engineering for accuracy and quality. Answer questions and provide clear, well-reasoned feedback based on professional experience. Identify useful reference material relevant to mechanical engineering. Share insights into mechanical engineering tools, workflows, and standards. Collaborate with other subject-matter experts across different fields. Qualifications Must-Have Degree-qualified mechanical engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the US. 2+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience. Familiarity with codes and standards (e.g., ASME ) and tools ( SolidWorks , ANSYS , AutoCAD ). Professional working English . Based in the United States . Commitment to about 10 hours per week . Preferred Experience writing technical documentation, specs, or training material. Comfortable using everyday AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT ). Compensation & Legal W-2 employment through Cincinnatus LLC.
