Medicaid Policy Director
Overview BerryDunn is seeking a Medicaid Policy Director to join our Medicaid consulting team. As part of our consulting team focused on state Medicaid agencies, you will leverage your state and federal Medicaid policy expertise to help Medicaid agencies implement new programs and administer their program. You will be the success partner for Medicaid agencies in building healthier communities and stronger futures. You will work remotely, hybrid, or in one of our offices, helping clients nationally. You will report to and partner with management team members in our Medicaid team for both client work and career development. With a growth mindset, you will share your Medicaid expertise with those around you to help drive their development while also continuing to develop your own professional goals. Travel Expectations: Travel to client sites can range up to 50% You Will Help clients implement new programs and manage their compliance with federal requirements by: analyzing, documenting, and presenting analysis to clients; planning for and implementing new guidance and programs; preparing applications for grants and additional funding opportunities Partner with the team to share your Medicaid expertise while supporting client needs and also helping the team grow and develop in their knowledge of Medicaid Engage in marketing and business development by applying your Medicaid policy expertise to the development and review of content and budgets, including the review of and feedback on content created by others in a way that supports the development of the full team You Have 15 plus years of professional experience, 10 years of which was in Medicaid, at least 4 years of which was in a state Medicaid agency with progressive leadership responsibility, or the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Experience analyzing regulations and sub-regulatory guidance to inform the direction of the program along with managing projects and initiatives to implement program changes
