This role sits at the intersection of Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and AI-enabled data platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining Microsoft Fabric data products, Power BI reporting solutions, and data pipelines that support both business stakeholders and AI-driven solutions. This is a hands-on delivery role suited to someone who enjoys building, maintaining, and improving data solutions rather than operating purely at an architectural level. The role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work with modern Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data Services, and AI-related data platforms. Key Responsibilities Microsoft Fabric Development Build and maintain solutions within Microsoft Fabric Workspaces. Develop and support Fabric Lakehouses. Design and maintain Dataflows Gen2. Understand and manage data movement throughout the Fabric ecosystem. Maintain Fabric semantic models and reporting datasets. Power BI Development Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards. Build scalable and well-structured semantic models. Develop advanced DAX measures and calculated columns. Create meaningful visualisations and reporting solutions for business stakeholders. Optimise report performance and usability. Data Engineering & Pipeline Development Build and maintain data pipelines within Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory. Ingest data from multiple sources including: SQL Databases APIs SharePoint Lists CSV and Flat Files External Data Sources Implement data transformation and cleansing processes.
