Description SLC works on behalf of clients to support utility-scale thermal, solar, wind, battery energy storage, and other power generating and infrastructure projects. We evaluate and optimize technical, commercial, environmental, and financial aspects of the projects for a variety of clients. This position will require you to perform civil engineering reviews and analyses to understand power projects and distill technical expertise into actionable information that project stakeholders rely on to prudently develop, design, construct, operate, and finance those projects. Working in multi-disciplinary project teams, you will perform tasks such as the following: Assist with civil engineering reviews, including storm water drainage, sanitary sewer systems, road design, and earthwork Support preparation and review of site layout, grading, and preliminary drainage designs Prepare and review technical specifications to define construction requirements Work with senior consultants to advise power project developers Evaluate new power and infrastructure projects independently to support financing Develop technical reports for applicable audiences – including owners, developers, governmental agencies and committees, and financiers This is a remote/virtual position. Candidate can be based anywhere within the United States. Qualifications We do not sponsor employees for work authorization in the U.S. for this position. Essential skills and experience: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
