CD PROJEKT RED is looking for an ML Technical Lead to lead across multiple multidisciplinary teams working on practical ML applications for game development. The role focuses on helping teams improve Unreal Engine workflows, production pipelines, and developer productivity for CD PROJEKT RED’s development cycles. This role is ideal for a GameDev technology leader who enjoys developing people, shaping technical direction, and connecting emerging ML capabilities with real value for game creators. The teams operate with dedicated production support and strong technical ownership. Producers are responsible for production coordination, discovery, planning, delivery tracking, dependencies, and day-to-day organizational flow. Engineers and researchers are expected to own key technical decisions within their areas. This role provides technical leadership at the level of direction, standards, alignment, coaching, trade-offs, and cross-team impact - not micromanagement or day-to-day production management. Responsibilities Game Development Technical Leadership Lead the technical direction for ML-driven tools and systems that support the development of CD PROJEKT RED games, with a focus on Unreal Engine workflows, production pipelines, developer productivity, and improving game subsystems. Machine Learning Understanding & Curiosity Work with ML engineers and researchers to uphold the team’s technical depth and quality of decision-making, while building a strong shared understanding of how machine learning and game development can meaningfully complement each other.
