Mobile Developer (Android & iOS) | Cyber Security Technology | Estonia - Tartu or Tallin location Your code will help secure the integrity of national elections. This company builds an end-to-end verifiable online voting platform trusted by governments and institutions across the world. They sit at the intersection of cryptography, election integrity and software engineering, and every release they ship meets the highest standards of security, auditability and regulatory compliance. They are a small, technically focused team based in Estonia. Here, your work is never lost in the noise: every feature you build has a direct and visible impact on how elections are run. The role You will develop and maintain native mobile applications across their election technology portfolio, spanning voter registration, voter verification devices and individual verifiability mechanisms. This is native Android and native iOS work in a security sensitive, low defect tolerance environment, where correctness and auditability matter as much as delivery speed. What you bring Based in Estonia - either Tartu (preferred) or Tallin with EU work eligibility, fluency in Estonian language preferred but not mandatory 2-5 years of experience in mobile application development Comfortable in both Java and Kotlin for Android Proficiency in Swift for iOS, or a strong Android background with a demonstrated ability to ramp up on iOS quickly Ability to read and maintain legacy iOS code written in Objective-C Native Android (Android SDK, Jetpack, Gradle) and native iOS (UIKit/SwiftUI, Xcode, CocoaPods/SPM) Experience working safely within production codebases, including legacy code on both platforms REST/API integration and secure data handling, with certificate pinning experience a plus Confidence with Git based version control workflows What sets you apart Cryptography fundamentals: public-key cryptography, digital signatures or hashing in a mobile context Prior exposure to e-voting, security-critical or compliance-driven mobile applications would be a plus Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) experience Unit and integration testing experience in regulated or security contexts CI/CD experience for mobile releases (Fastlane, App Store Connect, Play Console) Beyond the technical skills You solve problems independently and are not afraid to dig into an issue until you understand it. You communicate clearly in writing, since much of your coordination will span international partners and time zones. And you bring the discretion and reliability that comes with working on election infrastructure, where the stakes are genuinely high.
