Listed as a remote role based in Ghent, Flemish Region, Belgium. Most health apps collect data. Arch*i turns it into personalised health guidance. At erudite.health we are building Arch*i: a health platform that brings together medical knowledge, technology and artificial intelligence. It starts from an extensive medical intake and turns that into personal guidance on nutrition, movement, mental health and supplementation. Not generic output. The decision logic is clinically grounded and validated before it reaches a user. To the user it feels simple. Underneath sits a technically demanding system, where medical reliability and engineering quality are the same requirement. You join on validated foundations. What exists today, you take through to completion and launch. As a Mobile Engineer, you build the mobile experience that makes all of this technology accessible. What will you build? You help build the Arch*i mobile application: the place where users literally take their health into their own hands. Your work includes: Further developing the native app for iOS and Android. The complete journey from medical intake to personalised health guidance within the app. Camera and imaging functionality within the application. Integrating the app with the platform through APIs, including state management, caching and offline support. Delivering a fast, stable and accessible user experience across the devices people use every day. The secure handling of health data following privacy by design and GDPR. Testing, CI/CD and monitoring to make releases predictable and reliable. The full development lifecycle, from analysis and development to publishing in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and monitoring in production. Who are you? You are a Mobile Engineer who enjoys building software that people rely on every day. You also recognise yourself in the following: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent through experience. At least 3 years of experience as a Mobile Engineer (iOS and/or Android). Solid experience with Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android). Experience with API integrations, state management and asynchronous programming. You communicate fluently in Dutch and professionally in English. Nice to have: Experience with computer vision or camera integrations. Experience with mobile CI/CD. An interest in healthcare, life sciences or medical technology. Why join Arch*i and erudite.health? Salary and benefits Gross monthly salary between €3,900 and €4,800, depending on your experience and expertise. Company car with charging card is negotiable. Meal vouchers worth €8 per working day.
