Position: Music & Lyrics Expert - Japanese Type: Contract Compensation: $35–$62/hour Location: Remote Duration: Up to 6 months Commitment: 20+ hours/week Role Responsibilities Evaluate AI-generated music across various genres. Rate against detailed quality standards in Japanese and English . Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify similarities. Rate lyrics based on quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality. Evaluate naturalness of lyrics, including word choice, slang, and regional expressions. Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance . Qualifications Must-Have Native or near-native proficiency in Japanese . Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English . Experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist. Knowledge of the Japanese music scene. Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening. Preferred Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition. Credited or published songwriting work. Broad familiarity with contemporary Japanese genres, sub-genres, and artists.
