Work setup: Remote Equipment: BYOD (Bring your own device) Type of Contract: Full time employment Schedule: 8 AM-5 PM or 9 AM - 6 PM Pacific Time | Monday–Friday The Network Implementation Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end implementation of managed network services for customers, as defined by customer sales orders. This role focuses on hands-on execution of customer implementations, including design validation, configuration, deployment, migration, and activation of network services. What does a day in the life as a Network Implementation Engineer (SD-WAN) look like? Deliver end-to-end implementation of customer network services, including firewalls, SD-WAN, switching, wireless, and WAN connectivity. Manage and execute multiple concurrent customer implementation projects, balancing priorities, timelines, and customer communication. Configure, deploy, and activate Cisco Meraki and/or Fortinet-based solutions in accordance with approved designs. Implement Arista VeloCloud SD-WAN solutions as required. Coordinate remotely with customer IT staff and Cox field technicians to complete on-site activities. Execute network migrations and cutovers with minimal customer disruption. Perform troubleshooting during implementation and assist with issue resolution. Maintain accurate implementation documentation required for transition to Support. Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, Project Managers, and internal stakeholders regarding progress, risks, and blockers. Follow implementation standards, processes, and security requirements. What are the required qualifications of a Network Implementation Engineer (SD-WAN)? 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing enterprise network solutions in customer-facing environments.
