A day in the life (Responsibilities) The Retail Team is a newer vertical to Toast , building out our sales and servicing capacity to retail customers. As an Onboarding Consultant, Toast ’s way of saying an “Implementation Specialist”, you serve as the customer’s relationship manager & point of contact from the time that the account purchases Toast , through the onboarding phase of the customer journey. You are expected to work autonomously under an Onboarding Manager to achieve monthly activation goals, prioritize work based on customer need and Toast requirements and deliver high quality customer interactions. The Retail Team has two different types of Onboarding Consultants - Retail Onboarding Consultants, those who are responsible for the end-to-end onboarding experience of a new customer, and Guest/Menu Onboarding Consultants, those who closely partner with Retail Onboarding Consultants and service a wider range of customers by building their menus and activating Guest modules.
